What exactly is a suspension crane?
A suspension crane is an industrial lifting installation that is mounted underneath a supporting structure or roof structure and moves across the workspace. The crane runs via trolleys over steel profiles that are fixed to the roof or to a structure.
In contrast to an overhead crane, the suspension crane is not placed on top of rails, but is suspended underneath the structure.
